1. Information we collect

• Account data — name, email address, and authentication credentials (passwords are stored only as salted hashes).
• Financial data — accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, debts, and investment holdings that you add manually, import, or sync from connected institutions.
• Voice input — audio or transcripts you provide to add transactions by voice, processed to extract transaction details.
• Usage & device data — app interactions, device type, and diagnostic logs used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• sync, categorize, and display your financial data;
• process subscription payments and prevent fraud;
• communicate service updates and support responses;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-party services

To provide core functionality, we share the minimum necessary data with trusted processors:

• Plaid and Monobank — to securely connect your bank accounts and retrieve transactions and balances at your direction.
• Paddle — our Merchant of Record, which processes subscription payments. EasyFin does not store your full card details.
• Infrastructure and analytics providers that host the Service and help us monitor reliability.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms and only as needed to deliver the Service.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; we will delete it except where retention is required by law.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EEA users and applicable Ukrainian law), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@easyfin.app.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
